Hello my wonderful family,
Good to hear from you all and here that everything is going well. That´s awesome that Mitch and Rusty got their calls, I´m super excited for them. And good work with meeting the mission president Skyler, gotta get on good terms with him now, right? :) Thanks for sending the package, you all are just too awesome, especially you mom :) Glad things are going well with sports and all that jazz. That will be fun to have Carson and Steve in town for a while. You´ve got to send me pictures of the new baby. So things are going really well here. Found out that I´m staying for a while longer. So I´ll be ¨killing" Elder Wright (he´s going home this transfer) and probably staying a transfer more. So I´ll have been here for 4 and a half transfers or about 7 months. That´s a really long time! But all is well and things are going to keep getting even more and more awesome here, or at least I hope they will :) But yeah things are going well. We´ve been doing a lot of contacting and things. Working with the members is definitely the best way to do the work, dad that´s for sure. And yes I understand your emails and the Spanish is pretty good. I understand just about everything and can say all that I want to. I can speak Spanish, weird right? But yeah things are going well, we just need to keep working hard and doing all we can. Hope things are going awesome there and I can´t wait to talk to you all on mother´s day. We´ll set up a time and everything next week, but be thinking about it. We have one hour and it can basically be whenever. Just let me know when you want to do it (skype) and I´ll make it work. Just keep in mind that I am 8 hours ahead of you. But yeah, good stuff, love you all lots and lots and I miss you a ton. But time is flying and even though I miss you, I don´t want to leave Spain for anything. The Lord has a lot of plans for me, and I still have a lot to learn. Love you all and keep up the good work!
Con amor,
Elder Flint

Hello my wonderful family,
I´m glad things are going awesome back there in the US of A. Things are going great here too. We´ve spent a lot of time trying to find new investigators, so we´ve been knocking doors and talking to people in the streets and basically just working our butts off. I love it. It´s an awesome feeling to hit the sack every night completely exhausted becasue we´ve given our all to the Lord. I love my new comp. He´s so awesome. I´m kinda worried that we are only going to have these three weeks together, but we´ll see what happens. He´s a great guy and a really hard worker. Things are just going really well. So I don´t think that it´s fair at all that Ammon got to go to choir tour. What the heck! Lucky dog :) Sounds like it was super fun. How long was the bus ride? Did you sleep? And good work with State Drama, no worries about the monologue you´ll have two more years to do that. And your senior year, I can help you. Weird. I´ve been out for 6 months now. 6 months! That´s 1 quarter of my mission! I want the time back, it´s not fair! Ah, the time flies. Sounds like things are going great there. Well at least for you all. The world is going crazy. I heard about the Boston bomb and the explosion in Texas. Was the a bomb too or just an accident? So crazy story. Alex Minson is in Boston right now serving right. So he was going to go watch a part of the marathon for Pday and they decided not to go at the last moment. Holy cow. The Lord protects his servants that´s for sure. Also the other day we were working in Manzanares, one of our little pueblos and we found out on Sunday that the day we were there, at the same time we were there a man killed his two children, his mother in law, and himself. Can you imagine if we had knocked that door? The Lord was protecting us, that´s for sure. The world really is just getting crazier and crazier. The second coming is right around the corner. I´m so excited for it. Some days I just want it to come. I don´t want to wait anymore. The world will just be so much better when the Lord is here again. I can´t believe Savannah´s so old. She can talk!? That´s so weird. Does she even remember me? No big deal if she doesn´t she´ll still have to stick with me for eternity, but just wondering. I hope things are going good. I´ll definitely be praying for bro. Baker and Johnson. And my comp is from Morgan, UT. And we do have a shower with warm water. Although the other day it wasn´t working so I showered with water that I heated up on the stove. Kinda fun :) And we do make our own food. We usually do pasta or rice or something becasue it is super fast and good. And I made salsa last week becasue produce is super cheap here. It was really good. If you can think of any other really fast recipes send em my way.  And thanks so so so so so so so so  much for working so hard on the package. It´s like you love me or someting :) Well I love you all. You´re all in my prayers. And Skyler I´m so freakin pumped for you. I can´t believe that my brother is going to be out here in the field too. And good work meeting your mission president. Que climber eres :) You´ll be AP in no time. Well love you all have a good week.

Hola mia familia!
Sounds like you all had an exciting week with ducks and squirrel and everything. Sounds like ducks are a lot of fun. Super clean and all :) Good thing they're cute, right? I can´t believe Skyler is leaving next month! That´s so insane! Hey and thanks so much for doing a package and stuff. And really you don´t need to send me any treats. They have things here. But the only things that I miss are things with peanut butter like Reese´s Peanut Butter Cups and Fastbreaks. Phwoo, those are good :) But I don´t need them, so just make it as cheap as possible, okay? Good. So I just wanted to answer some of Dad´s questions before I forget. The members here are incredible. We are in a rama of about 20 active members and whoever else we can get to come to the capilla. We have a lot of investigators that are progressing but have something stopping them from being baptized, like not being married and having to go to Colombia to do it, or their parents saying no. But we still are working with them. We are trying to focus this week on finding new investigators that are willing and able to progress to baptism. So we do a lot of contacting in the street and tocando puertas. It´s a party. And the members are good about helping us out with references when they get them, the problem is that, with only a few of them, they have been asked the same thing for years and the missionaries have milked them dry. Kinda hard in that way, but they´re are still great. It´s just like a little family here. And sadly, I´m afraid I might have to leave soon. We don´t know for sure, claro, but Elder Wright dies in June (goes home, digo) and I´ve already been here for almost 3 transfers. Normally people only stay in an area for 4 transfers max and if I stayed the next transfer I would have to be here for the next transfer too, because I´d be the only one around to know the area. So we´re thinking I might go here in 3 weeks after this transfer ends. And it stinks because me and Elder Wright get along super super well. It´s a ton of fun with him, and we work well together. And he taught me how to solve a rubix cube, so I can do that now. I know, I´m cool. And Presidente Deere is amazing. He reminds me a lot of President Claire and that´s saying something because Pres. Claire is incredible. I´m basically just in the best mission ever, that´s all.
So yeah, how did Ammon get to go to choir tour? Fetchin lucky!  And Logan, as always, super beastly on the field. And I have eaten flan. In fact I´ve already particpated in a flan sucking race, which is basically you suck up the flan and swallow it as fast as you can. Pretty great. But I still have not had a paella :( and tapas are just way too expensive for us. But other Spanish things are great. Spanish food is just like, I don´t even know. It´s healthy, sometimes. It´s just hard to describe. It´s just very mediterranean. That´s all but yeah, things are going well. The new compie is awesome. He likes musical theater and loves music and we just get along really well. But yeah things are going awesome. I love hearing from you all and seeing the picutres. I don´t have any this week, sorry, but I´ll be taking more soon. Good luck with the messy ducks and all the mission prep Skyler! Keep up the good work you all. Love you a ton.

Lots of pics

Elder Butler with the huge hamburger.
                                                 PDay awesomeness. ¡Que guapos somos!
Our newest member, Martinus, up in a tree.

We cut Martinus´ hair. Nice, right?

This is a haunted house (according to Martinus) He says 5 people have died there. Scary! :)

These are all the missionaries in our Zone. Elder Tenney is a little blurry, but you get the picture.
Sometimes missionary work is just to much to handle :) Just kidding, the lighting just makes it look super depressing.

We found and ate HUGE hamburgers on Saturday. If I spread out my hand as big as I can, they were about that size, maybe a touch bigger.

Seriously, HUGE, it´s just hard to see how big they truly were with pictures.

Me and Daniel looking super guapo. Future models right here.

Hey there family,
First off things are going great here in Valdepeñas. Conference weekend was fantastic. Sadly I was only able to view a part of the Saturday morning session and the Sunday morning session, but it was great anyways. Are there any talks that I need to print off and read for sure? I think I´ll get Elder Holland´s talk, just because I´ve already heard a lot about it. But the conference went well. We could have watched it all through the internet, but we went working instead. We watched the Sunday morning session live at 6PM with our rama :) Weird to think that it was 10 AM there and you were all up and eating breakfast and whatnot at Grandma´s. I´m glad she´s doing well, send my love to her and tell here not to worry, I´m doing great :) This week has been an interesting one. A lot of preparations went into watching General Conference as a rama and we had to help with a lot of tech stuff. But we were still able to get in 22 lessons this week, so the Lord blessed us for our service. But I´m really glad that the crazy North Korean president doesn´t effect Skyler´s leaving. The Lord will figure things all out. I´m glad he´s so excited, I am too. I´ve been talking to Cassidy but I didn´t know she was visa waiting, what fun! HAAAAAAPPYYY BIIIIIIRHTDAAAAAAY LOOOOOOGAAAAN!!!!! And just to let you know, I did know that it was your birthday, even before mom told me :) I have all your birthday´s on my calender except for Savannah´s becasue I couldn´t remember when it was, but I still love her! I can´t believe she can talk. That´s so weird. But I´m glad to here that you all had a fun General Conference weekend. My favorite talks were really all the ones I heard. I loved them all. Honestly I can´t choose one out of the few I heard, maybe when I read them all one will stick out more. But it was great. I loved the feeling in the room when our whole rama got together to watch. Everyone in the room straightened up a little and listened more attentively when the Prophet was announced. Super great. He is truly a man chosen by God to lead us in these days. I´m so grateful for him. But things are really going well here. We just got news that my companion is headed for the office. He leaves tomorrow and I´ll be getting a new companion. He´s going to be helping all the missionaries do their traveling and get legal and everything. He´s in for a lot of work. I´m going to miss him, but it´s always exciting to have a change. We´ll see how it goes. I can´t really think of anything else that I would need in the package. Whatever you think I could need or want I suppose. Love you all a ton, and keep up all the awesome work their in the states!

Elder Flint

Baptism!!!!!!

                                                                 BAPTISM!!!!!!!!!!!
Eurpoean cars are really really small. (This is not a trick or anything, the car really is that small.)
                                                                 BAPTISM!!!!!!!!!!!
So this is a picture that one of the Elders in our Zone did. This is all the Elders in La Mancha. I´m Gamnote, which is a musical Gambit who is from X-Men I believe. He can control things with his mind. My favorite is Capitan Centro America. He´s an Elder from El Salvador. Pretty great stuff. He says he´s going to do another one where we are all Disney characters. I´ll be Flint Rider (Flynn Rider, get it?) :)

Hello there my wonderful family!
Things are going awesome here in Spain durante la Semana Santa. Things honestly are pretty crazy. We had a meeting in Malaga the other day and everything was closed. Like literally, everything. That includes all the bus systems and grocery stores. Craziness. Spaniards take their holidays seriously! But things were pretty cool. Everyone goes out into the streets to watch procesiones (parades, basically) where they carry huge imagenes of Jesucristo around the streets. Kinda weird, but interesting. Sadly I hardly got to see any of it because we were so busy. So I have no pictures to send you of the Semana Santa this year, but next year I´ll try a little bit harder. But we did have a baptism!!!!! It was incredible, the spirit truly testified to me again that this is what I´m supposed to be doing. And, don´t worry mom, I´m not coming home for anything! (well I guess when I´m done I might). But it was a good week. It sounds like you all had a great time too! How was Easter? Hope it went well. Peru sounds like it was awesome! The pictures you sent didn´t work though :/ You´ll have to try again next week. Just do whatever you did earlier, because the other pictures you have sent have worked perfectly. Good work at stirring up some trouble in the ward momma :) I guess we´ll just have to wait and see what happens with the whole polygamy thing. But people won´t be able to understand it now completely, and that´s okay. If we were meant to understand it now, we would. Thanks for working so hard on all the stuff too. I hope I´m not too much trouble. So I just heard that North Korea declared war on South Korea, is that true? And if so, how would that affect Skyler? Keep me posted por favor. So this week we had the baptism of Martin. It was pretty great. We had to fill up the font using the kitchen and bathroom sink and the water ended up being cold and brownish, but it was still incredible. He´s about 6´5" and he slipped when he went under, so I almost dropped him, but it all worked out. It was a pretty spiritual experience. After I pulled him out I could see how happy the Spirit was making him. He just smiled and hugged me and said thank you. Pretty powerful. I had another really powerful spiritual experience just yesterday. We´ve been teaching an 11 year old Romanian boy named Raúl, and really haven´t really thought that he was ready to be baptized yet (just because we didn´t think he really understood it all yet) but yesterday in church he came up to me and said that during the last meeting he had a really strong prompting. He said that he felt something in his heart saying that he needed to be baptized like Martin was. He said he always feels good with us and at church and everything and that he really needs to be baptized. The boy was feeling the spirit on turbo. He´s a tiny little guy and was literally shaking when he told me that. And then the Spirit testified super strongly to me, that everything he was saying was true. That he does need to be batptized. He´s a special kid. Our branch president says the same thing. He says that he´s different, and he is. Later that day we went to Raúl´s house to eat dinner with him. It was good, but his parents told us, and him, that he couldn´t be baptized. So for now, he has to wait until he is 18. I´ve been praying really hard that their hearts will be softened, but we shall see what happens. Well I love you all and I hope things are going well for you. Oh, and mom, you should probably just send the package to the office. This is the address:

Av. Jesús Santos Rein Nº2, 3 D-E
Edif. Ofisol, Fuengirola
29640 Málaga
ESPAÑA
And I think that it´s better to put just my name at the top instead of Misión Málaga España. Thanks again. Love you all a ton! This week I´ve thought about all the things we used to do and I´m so grateful that you raised me so well! (hopefully I turned out okay too) Thanks for everything.
Con amor,
Elder Charlie Flint
