Hello there family,
It´s great to hear from you all. It really does make my week. I´m really sad to hear about Hno Baker´s passing. That was very sudden. How is the family doing? Let them know that my heart and prayers are with them. I can´t believe that you all have so much going on! Skyler is going to Korea and graduating and most importantly going through the temple. How awesome is that?! Super awesome! I´m so proud of him. I really am. It´s great to hear from Granny too. Thanks for all the ideas for food, I´ll have to put those to work. Probably a good idea to push off the class for a couple of months, mom, it will give you a chance to breath a little :) Ammon, your showcase sounds awesome, I heard you did First Date Cantata and you were the voice in the beginning. Super funny. I hope someone recorded it so that I can see it one day. But sounds like things are going great. Here things are going really well. We had a baptism last week! It was of the son of a member, but still it was great. One of our investigators came and invited a friend, who has a cousin who is a member and is really interested in hearing more. So we are really really excited about that. She is from Uruguay and has two little kids. They´re super funny. But we are hoping to be able to get in there soon and help her know what she can do to be happy. Well just a few thoughts of mine. Basically this last week, really just right now, I´ve realized how fragile this life on the earth is. As people around me have passed on it´s made me think about my own life. If I passed away right now, would I feel like I had done all I can? I would hope so. I think I have lived a good life, I feel like I´ve lived worthily of the blessings I have recieved, but there is always more I can do. There is always more that we can do. My comp is always worrying about if he is doing his best. To the point that maybe he beats himself up a little bit, but it always makes me check myself. I´m hoping that I can become the person the Lord needs me to be. I strive every day to be better, and hope that I can accomplish that goal. One thing that gives me a lot of hope is the fact that I know that the Lord can do his work. He is preparing and leading people to us and I just need to be worthy, and always on the lookout for those precious spirits he has been preparing. I´m so grateful for this gospel and the strength and the peace it brings to our hearts and souls. The world is a tough place to grow up, but the Lord is preparing every one of us for a responsibility even greater. I love you all and I hope that your week is amazing. Good luck, Skyler with everything, and good luck to the rest of you.
Love you all,
Elder Charlie Flint
