Hello familia,
First off HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is crazy to think that he is 22 years old! I have felt his presence with me a number of times on the mission and before. I know he loves to be with us! And it will be amazing to be with him again. We´ve just got to make sure that we live worthy of getting there.
So the goat is out. Because crazy lady wanted us to eat it...? Or not eat it? Or I don´t know. All I know is that I could really go for some goat chops right now :) Hopefully Logan can teach the dog to "Baa" then we could eat him :) Just kidding...maybe. Send me a pic of the little rat, I´d bet he´d fit in well here in Spain (lots of little dogs). Sounds like things are going well for everyone. Ammon is on seminary council! Just following right behind me. If you get called to the Spain Malaga Mission, Imma freak out. But that is awesome, you´ll love it. Say hi to Bro Hawkins and the rest for me! And Les Mis is awesome!!!!!!!!!! I really want to see it! But alas, I probably will not. Mom, you are going to rock your interview for sure! I´m pumped to hear how it goes. Skyler way to get away from those gamers! Bunch of punks. And Micah, that museum thing sounds awesome! You will have to show me it when I get home (sorry it´s on your birthday, maybe you can convince mom and dad to go out and get food with us :) But something American would probably be best. Or Mexican, yeah Mexican mmmm) Or Ammon could pay for it with all the pasta that he´s getting. 500 a month? That´s 3 times as much as I get to survive is Spain every month! Lucky duck. Use it well, lots of dates :) And dad, sounds like you had a pretty good time with your retreat/fly fishing thing. Did you catch any fish? How big? No really how big was it? :) You gotta be careful with those pork chop bones! Everything here has bones in it, so you have to always be careful. But a macademian nut? You´ve got to use some flouride toothpaste or something to strengthen those teeth. I´m already going to have to be changing your diapers, I don´t want to have to wash your dentures too :)
So by now you probably realize that I am not in the office anymore. And if you didn´t, well I´m not. I moved to a place called Alicante. It is on the far east side of the mission. So I have served now in all four extremes of the mission. As far west as you can get, about as far north as you can get, abuot as far south as you can get, and about as far east as you can get too. Pretty crazy! It was a 6 hour trip in bus. Super long! But I survivied. My comp is Elder Simon. He is from Argentina. An interesting kid. Good elder, hard worker. We have just been tearing things up. And that´s what I like. Lots of work to do. The ward (yes ward, weird right, the rest have been branches) is awesome. We are trying to get them more inolved in the work. Hopefully our efforts will pay off. I love this work! It has been great to get out and into the norm again. I remeber what it´s like now to have successes, and rejections everyday. In the office I had some, but now it is regular again. I missed it. But I also miss the office. Not really the office, but the people. I miss my comps and I miss the branch, and I especially miss the Castillos. Elder Dansie got sick right before I left, and things went crazy so I didn´t get too much of a chance to say goodbye, but we still all choked up. You meet some amazing people in the service of the Lord and the Castillos are a few that I will never forget. When you meet them, for I have decided that you all will, you´ll see how awesome they are too! And do you know who else is awesome? All of you! I love you all so much and I miss you. I feel the end moving closer and I don´t like it, but I know that there is a time and season for everything. And my time now is to give it all to the Lord. I love you all! Have a fantastic week.
Con amor,
Elder Flint
